WHERE IT STARTED
Born on a Golf Course in Ireland.
It started with a bad round, a rule book, and a group of guys who cared more about the 19th hole than their handicap. Someone found Rule 18.1 — the legal mulligan — and suddenly a rule nobody knew existed became an attitude everyone wanted to wear. Twelve guys. One Ireland trip. One rule that changed everything.
THE Rule
18.1 — Stroke and Distance.
Hit one out of bounds? Lost in the fescue? Rule 18.1 says you can go back and play it again. Stroke and distance. A legal do-over, written right there in the book.
Most golfers spend a lifetime never knowing it's there.
We built a company on it.
WHo We're For
We're Not Chasing the PGA Tour.
We're here for the laughs, the stories, and the 19th hole. 18.1 is for golfers who play for fun, not perfection.
Whether you're a scratch player or a ball retriever, 18.1 keeps you in the game.
WHAT WE MAKE
Every Rule Tells a Story.
One rule became a hat. Then the rule book got interesting.
Pace of play. Time to tee. Scorecard integrity. Play it as it lies. Every Rule Hat carries a number — not just from the rulebook, but from the moments that make the game honest, humbling, and unforgettable.
Then there are the games within the game. Wolf. Hammer. Press. Snake. The ones where the real money changes hands.
And the ones that just tell the truth. Hack. Breakfast Ball. Don't Ask Details.
The Rule 18.1
The rule that started it all. A legal do-over. No guilt. Play on.
The Moment
The shank. The snake. The mulligan nobody mentioned. It's never the score.
The 19th Hole
Where the real game has always been played.
THE MISSION
Make Golf Fun.
Golf is better when you know the rules — and better still when you know which ones to bend. So here's what we're here to do:
Make the game lighter. Hats and apparel that take the edge off a game that takes itself too seriously.
Teach the rules golfers actually use. Not the 200-page book — the handful that save your round, settle the argument, and get you out of trouble.
Teach you to gamble like a legend. Wolf. Hammer. Press. Snake. The games within the game, and how to actually play them.
Prove golf is fun even when your swing is not. Especially then.
We play for laughs, stories, and the 19th hole.
Welcome to 18.1.
